Carsen Smith is a TV/screenwriter, director, and producer in NYC where she has written for UCB Maude teams such as VILLAIN! and BedRock. Formerly, she worked for Impractical Jokers on truTV and founded The Goose Lodge - a speakeasy underground comedy club in Brooklyn. You can see her headlines on Reductress and around town with her sketch team One Bad Egg.
Her first book series, Area 51 Interns, released with Penguin Random House in 2022.
She holds a B.A. in Cinematic & Media Arts from Vanderbilt University and is currently pursuing her Master’s in screenwriting at Columbia.
